Carson City deputies make arrests for methamphetamine, stalking and DUI
A 37-year-old Carson City man was arrested Friday afternoon for suspicion of felony possession of methamphetamine, possession of paraphernalia, driving with a suspended license and possession of a drug without a prescription, a sheriff's deputy report said.
Carson City Sheriff's Office Special Enforcement Team deputies were conducting surveillance and spotted a vehicle leaving the area of Mallory and Roop Street occupied by Dustin Bleu North, who was known from drug trafficking arrests, the arrest report states.
During previous contacts, North’s driver’s license was suspended. Deputies stopped the vehicle and confirmed his license was suspended. K-9 Deputy Ivo was dispatched and conducted a free air sniff around the vehicle. Ivo alerted to the presence of drug odor at the driver’s side of the vehicle.
Deputies located a backpack which contained a methamphetamine pipe, with a trace amount of methamphetamine, and a methamphetamine water pipe. They also located Acyclovir 400mg tablets in the center console. The pills are only available with a prescription, and none was present.
North was taken into custody without incident. Bail: $6,357.

— A 27-year-old Carson City woman was arrested in the 4700 block of Ponderosa Drive for misdemeanor violation of an extended protection order, stalking/harassing, and violation of a suspended sentence warrant issued out of Carson City Justice Court in July.
According to the arrest report, the reporting party was visiting his mother, of whom he has power of attorney, and said while he was at the residence he observed the 27-year-old woman walk out from the driveway leading to the backyard of the residence.
He said as soon as the woman saw him, she turned and walked back down the driveway to the backyard. He said he observed her walk to the east side of a parked 5th wheel travel trailer.
The man told deputies that there is an Extended Protection Order in place against the woman from having any contact with the man or the man’s mother, and states specifically that she is not allowed on the property.
The EPO was served in May of 2019 and does not expire until May of 2020.
Deputies knocked on the door and both sides of the trailer several times but no one would answer. Based off what the man had told deputies and his continual visual observation of the area, confirming the woman had never left the trailer, deputies applied for and were granted a search warrant.
Deputies opened the door of the trailer and found the woman directly on the other side of the door in the trailer. She stepped outside and was taken into custody without incident. Bail: $6,137; $3,000 cash only.
— A 20-year-old Carson City woman was arrested in the area of 5th Street and Warm Springs for DUI drugs, driving with lights off, and failure to maintain a lane. Bail: $1,336
