NHP investigates fatal Silver Springs rollover that killed Pahrump man
The Nevada Highway Patrol has identified a Pahrump man who died in a single vehicle rollover Wednesday, Sept. 8 on USA Parkway SR-439 in Silver Springs.
David Misiak, 53, of Pahrump, died at the scene of the crash that NHP responded to at approximately 8:41 p.m., at Lyon County Mile Marker 1.
A preliminary investigation shows that a red 1994 Saturn S-series sedan, driven by Misiak, was traveling southbound on SR-439 near Lyon County mile marker 1. The driver failed to maintain control of the vehicle. The vehicle left the roadway to the right broadside and then overturned. Impairment is suspected in this crash, according to NHP.
This crash is being investigated by the Nevada Highway Patrol Northern Command West Multi-Disciplinary Investigation and Reconstruction Team (M.I.R.T.) - Case No. 210900593.
