Carson City area road report for the week of Sept. 17-23
Here is the Carson City area road report for the week of Sept. 17-23, 2018. The first day of fall is this Saturday, Sept. 22 and that means Nevada Day is around the corner. The Curry Street project will be ready in time for the Nevada Day parade. Here is this week's construction schedule:
— Completing fire services on Curry between Proctor and Spear.
— Continuing concrete sidewalk, curb and gutter between Proctor and Spear.
— Sidewalk, curb and gutter demolition on Telegraph between Curry and Carson.
— Irrigation and Electrical between Spear and Robinson.
— Sub-grade and base preparation between Telegraph and Robinson.
— There will be intermittent street closures during construction activity, detours will be signed.

Elsewhere, closures expected at the following locations due to road and utility work:
— Snyder Avenue will be closed between Bigelow Drive and Center Drive, Monday through Sunday. All hours.
— Clear Creek Avenue will be closed between Center Drive and Snyder Avenue, Monday through Sunday. All hours.
— Reeves Street will be closed between Edmonds Drive and Brown Street, Wednesday and Thursday, 7 a.m. to 5: p.m.
— Rhodes Street will be closed west of Curry Street, Monday through Thursday, 7 a.m. to 5:30 p.m.
Lane restrictions are expected at the following locations due to road and utility work:
— Sherman Lane will have reduced lanes between Bunch Way and Dori Way, Monday through Friday, 7 a.m. to 5 p.m.
— Voltaire Street will have reduced lanes between Voltaire Canyon Road and Clearview Drive, Monday through Sunday, 7 a.m. to 5 p.m.
