Carson City arrests: Man who said he was 'alpha creator’ jailed in pepper spray attack
A 38-year-old man was arrested Monday for misdemeanor suspicion of battery after allegedly using pepper spray on a man he was talking with at an apartment complex, a Carson City sheriff’s deputy said.
According to the arrest report, a deputy was dispatched at 10:26 a.m. to an apartment at the 300 block of South Carson Meadows in reference to a victim who had been peppered sprayed.
Once on the scene the deputy made contact with the suspect who was sitting on the curb of the nearby sidewalk. The officer noticed a can of pepper spray 8 feet away from him.
The suspect, listed as a transient, said he was at his friend’s apartment at 300 South Carson Meadows and told the deputy he was “alpha creator,” the arrest report states. The man would not speak any further to the officer, other than repeating his name was “alpha creator.”
Deputies made contact with the victim who stated the man came by his apartment and the two of them were talking. The suspect began to state he wanted to save him then and began acting strange. The suspect pulled out a can of pepper spray and sprayed the victim in the face, the arrest report states.
The victim said the man then attacked him. The victim’s neighbor then came over and pulled the suspect off the victim.
The deputy observed the victim’s face was red and began to swell due to the pepper spray. The victim had a small abrasion on the left elbow area and received treatment from Fire Department personnel called to the scene.
The victim stated he wished to pursue charges against the suspect for battery. Bail: $1,137.
