Applications sought for person to serve on Carson City Airport Authority
The Board of Supervisors is seeking applications from persons interested in serving on the Carson City Airport Authority. The Airport Authority is a 7 member board that oversees all matters pertaining to the Carson City airport.
Meetings are held the third Wednesday of every month in the Sierra Room at the Community Center. Applicants must be willing to serve approximately ten to sixteen hours a month. There is one open position, to fill a term ending on October 1, 2023:
Pilot: (1) must own and operate an aircraft based at the Carson City Airport.
The Board of Supervisors will appoint qualified persons to the board. To qualify, applicants must be a representative of one of the categories listed above.
All applications submitted to to the Board of Supervisors office will be considered public information.
Applications will be accepted until October 4, 2019. Interviews for this volunteer position are tentatively planned to be held at the regularly scheduled Board of Supervisors meeting on Thursday, Oct. 17, 2019. Go here to apply.
