Carson City Sheriff's arrest log: Woman arrested for battery with deadly weapon
A 48 year-old Carson City woman was taken into custody Friday night at 7:25 p.m. in the 2000 block of College Parkway after allegedly injuring her boyfriend with a kitchen knife, a Carson City Sheriff's deputy said.
Tisha Clark was arrested for felony battery with a deadly weapon following an argument with her boyfriend that had allegedly turned physical, the report said.
According to the victim's statements in the arrest report, the couple had been drinking while they argued about their relationship issues.
The victim reported to deputies that Clark had been cutting cheese with a partially serrated knife in the kitchen when she turned toward him. The victim told police that he had told Clark to give the knife back, at which point she allegedly lunged at and slashed the victim with the knife.
Upon arrival to the scene, deputies observed superficial lacerations to the victim's stomach and left hand, the report said.
When questioned about the lacerations to the victim, Clark claimed she did not know how he had been injured. She also denied the victim's battery allegations.
Clark did admit to using a knife to cut cheese in the kitchen during the argument.
Deputies located a pair of knives in the residence that matched the description by the victim, the report said. The knives were compared to the rips in the victim's t-shirt around the abdomen area. A towel with blood on it was also located in the residence.
Clark was handcuffed and transported to the Carson City Jail for booking. Bail: $30,000.
