Breathing masks offered free at Division of Public Health office in Carson City
The Public Health Preparedness Program in Carson City is offering N95 breathing masks at no cost. They are available effective immediately in the lobby of 4150 Technology Way until 5 p.m. today (Friday, August 23, 2013), or until supplies run out.
According to the CDC, “N95” masks, properly worn, will offer some protection from wildfire smoke, said Martha Framsted, spokeswoman for the Division of Public and Behavioral Health. Go here for information about public health during wildfires.
