Carson City Humane Society's Pet of the Week: Sandy

Hello Carson City, are you feeling lonely today? Well, lucky you, there are a lot of new friends waiting to meet you at the Carson City branch of the Nevada Humane Society!

Our Pet of the Week is Sandy, a sweet 8-year-old couch potato who is looking for her forever home. She is a Golden Retriever Chow Chow mix, and has been in the custody of the Humane Society since early August.

Let's hear from Sandy herself:

"Hi I'm Sandy! My favorite things in life are sleeping and lounging my days away. I'm looking for a nice and quiet calm home to call my own. Maybe a nice comfy couch where I could lounge those days away on! I'm super loveable and sweet, and am just looking for the perfect person who will love me back. I'm not that much into hiking or running, but a nice walk during sunset to the end of the block would be nice. I'll try to keep up! Meet me today!"

You can stop by and meet Sandy and bring her home to your couch by visiting the Carson City branch of the Nevada Humane Society at 549 Airport Road. The hours are 8 a.m. to 6:30 p.m. daily.
