At least one dead in plane crash at Minden-Tahoe Airport
UPDATE: The Minden-Tahoe Airport is confirming a plane crash occurred at around 8:19 a.m. Tuesday morning. One fatality is confirmed at this time, according to the Douglas County Sheriff's Office.
The airport is closed. This is an ongoing investigation and more information will be released as it becomes available.
The National Transportation Safety Board posted on social media that it is investigating the crash of an experimental, amateur-built Lockwood Air Cam.

UPDATE WEDNESDAY: A 68-year-old Bay Area man has been identified in a fatal plane crash that happened Tuesday at the Minden-Tahoe Airport in Douglas County.
The Douglas County Sheriff’s Office has identified the pilot, Randal G. Abraham from Redwood City, Calif. Abraham was pronounced dead at the scene.
The sole passenger in the aircraft was identified as Brandt Wood, 52, from Gardnerville. Wood was transported to Renown by East Fork Fire where he was treated for injuries sustained in the crash.
