Carson City School District to discuss $12 million in new bonds to improve school facilities

Nine Carson City churches are joining together to hold a Good Friday Ecumenical Service on April 2, 2021. The service will begin at noon and will be held at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints located at 411 N. Saliman Road in Carson City, just south of Carson High School.

The Carson City Library will host a community read of "To Be Taught, If Fortunate" by Becky Chambers this April for Capital City Reads, Carson City Library’s annual city-wide book club. Capital City Reads takes place every April as a celebration of National Library Week, bringing people together through reading and discussion.

CARSON CITY — The Office of the Labor Commissioner reminds Nevada employers that the minimum wage will increase effective July 1, 2021. Assembly Bill 456, passed by the 2019 Nevada Legislature, increases the minimum wage in increments of 75 cents annually through 2024.
