Nature and crafts blend together at Greenhouse Garden Art Fest in Carson City
Art and flowers made the perfect blend on Saturday during the 16th annual Greenhouse Garden Art Fest in Carson City.
Dozens of vendors sold different forms of art to capture the eyes of attendees while the lush greens, plants and flowers in the Greenhouse served as a comforting background.
Several crafted arts including pottery, paintings, stained glass, jewelry and colorful clothing was on sale for interested participants. Live music and snow cones from Kona Ice kept the event jam-packed with flavor and excitement.
The Carson High School Band Boosters were also on site selling hot dogs and beverages to raise funds for their program.
“It’s just a fun event in general,” attendee Tracy Lumbert said. “From the flowers, the beautiful art and music, it’s just a great time for myself and friends.”
From 10 a.m. to 3 p.m., the art fest helped kick-off a sunny weekend with tons of color and plenty of natural light.
