Nevada Performance Academy enrollment night is Monday
The Nevada Performance Academy, founded by former Nevada state superintendent, Gene Paslov will be holding an informative meeting on August 4, 6:15 p.m. at VT Williams and Associates, 3470 G.S. Richards Blvd.
Parents interested in enrollment or just seeking information are being asked to attend and bring nessecary documents such as birth certificate, utility bill, immunization records, and I.D, should they decide to enroll as space is limited to only 24 children per grade level.
The school is located at 1600 Snyder Avenue in Carson City. These students will be enrolled tuition free and are not required to participate or have training in the arts, although the school will be offering dance, theatre, music, and digital and visual arts in addition to the core academic curriculum.
Students will customize their schedules based on a variety of components including online classes, small classes on campus, and even classes at Western Nevada College that will provide college credits as well. The structure of the NPA is about teaching kids how to think and be independent.
