Spring Art Reception at St. Mary’s Art Center

Martin shares his "Evolutions" retrospective spanning the 1960's through today, with 98 pieces of his life's work. Shaun's "Border Stories" focus on borders, and the impact on migrants and society.
Our artisan gallery is also filled with stunning works from beaded Native American moccasins and drums to silk scarves, jewelry, poetry books, and more.
Admission is complimentary, light refreshments will be served.

Thirteen seniors from Carson High School’s Advanced Photography program have work in the exhibit which is available online at ccainv.org.

She has four younger brothers and sisters, all attending Carson City Schools, as well as a sibling just 18-months-old.

Gov. Sisolak proclaims October Arts and Humanities Month in Nevada

Arts and humanities strengthen the Nevada economy by generating $8.7 billion in total economic activity annually and by supporting more than 40,900 Nevada workers, according to data from the Nevada Arts Council, a state agency that works to make the arts accessible to all Nevadans. These individuals have a severe and profound physical and neurological disability, cannot care for themselves, need full-time assistance, and are some of the kindest human beings in the world, many of whom are students in the Carson City School District and at CHS. Each year, students in the CHS Comprehensive Life Skills program make crafts to sell at the annual CHS Craft Fair and give as gifts.

The 2019 season for CHS girls golf was a great experience for everyone on the team. This year, the team was comprised of five girls: Karen Beglin, Sophia Taggart, Karrina Ferris, Brooke Gudmundson, myself, and our coaches, Wade Greenlee and Jack Butler.
Governor appoints Amanda Horn to Nevada Arts Council board
