An 18-year-old woman was arrested early Wednesday for misdemeanor suspicion of driving under the influence of drugs and hit and run causing property damage, a Carson City sheriff’s deputy said.
The El Dorado Hills, Calif., woman was arrested at 4:33 a.m. in the area of Siskiyou and Gordonia streets.
According to the arrest report, a deputy responded to the area for a report of a hit and run accident. The reporting party stated a sports utility vehicle struck another vehicle in front of his residence. The reporting party said the vehicle sped away after switching drivers.
The witness observed the driver involved was a female with blonde hair and stated the second driver was a male with short black hair.
A deputy located the suspect vehicle, with heavy damage that matched the description provided by the witness, near the intersection of Siskiyou and Gordon.
