Carson City Fire Department respond to structure fire on East Long Street
UPDATE 9:38PM: The fire on East Long Street was on the back patio of a two-story four-plex, according to Carson City Fire Department Battalion Chief Jon Pedrini. Damage was contained to the exterior patio and siding. There were no injuries. Three occupants were displaced.
When firefighters arrived, a neighbor and Carson City Sheriff's deputies had used garden hoses and fire extinguishers to knock much of it out, said Pedrini. The cause is under investigation.

UPDATE: Firefighters were able to get a handle on the East Long Street fire. Support personnel are now leaving the scene.

Carson City Fire Department and sheriff's deputies were called Tuesday night to East Long Street for a structure fire.
At around 7:23 p.m. dispatch alerted multiple fire engines to the working structure fire in the 100 block of East Long Street.
Meanwhile, Carson City Fire Department responded at around 7:35 p.m. to a smoke investigation in the area of Edmonds and Brown streets. A small bush had caught fire. It has been extinguished.
