City Wide Short Film Competition registration is open
Attention all aspiring filmmakers: Can you make a movie in a week? if so, Wired Wednesday Digital Artists of Carson City presents its 2018 City Wide Short Film Competition, a venue where the challenge is getting all the essential pieces in place.
Register your team to make a film from July 11 to July 18. A team may be as few as one person and as many people as the filmmaker determines.
Prompts will be emailed to registered teams on the day the competition begins. Prompts will include a prop, a sound effect, a line of dialogue. Prompts must be included in all submitted films. All teams will receive the same prompts.
Teams have exactly one week to make a short film. Films are due at 12 noon one week from the date the competition begins. Submitted films must be between 5 and 9 minutes in length. Incomplete films, or films considered work-in-progress, will not be accepted. All costs associated with producing a film for the competition are solely the responsibility of the registered teams.
Registration closes 15-minutes before the competition begins. Registration may be done online before the competition begins. Please register here.
Rules are here.
Screening is on Sunday July 29 at 4 p.m.
We hope you will join in on the fun.
