Chrome and classics featured Saturday in Carson City at Nevada State Museum Car Show
Classic car shows highlight summers for chrome buffs throughout northern Nevada. A new show has been added to the mix, arriving Saturday, June 29 at the Nevada State Museum in Carson City.
Complete with showings, live music, food trucks, auto-related vendors and, of course, hot cars, the Nevada State Museum Car Show will be one for the ages, museum organizers said. The show runs from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. in the museum parking lots off Curry Street.
In partnership with Visit Carson City and Silver State Industries, the Nevada State Museum introduces what organizers say will be an exciting new show as a fundraiser benefit for the restoration of its classic 1967 Chevrolet C-10 Stepside Pickup.
Cost to reserve a space for your showpiece starts at $25. 8 spots remain and are reserved on a first-come, first-served basis. Email c.weislow@nevadaculture.org for registration. Complementary vendor space awarded with a raffle prize donation.
The Nevada State Museum is located at 600 N. Carson Street. Its parking lots are located one block west on N. Curry Street. The car show is free to attend for visitors. Admission into the Museum is $10 for adults, while members and individuals 17 and under are free.
