Carson City concert series opens tonight with jazz swing greats Big Bad Voodoo Daddy
Are you ready for a Friday night dance party Carson City? The Levitt-AMP summer concert series opens tonight with jazz swing band greats Big Bad VooDoo Daddy on the Minnesota Street Stage in front of the Brewery Arts Center.
The free concert begins at 7. Food trucks, beverages, dancing and more will be dished and poured at the outdoor concert venue.
There will be nine more weekly acts every Saturday at 7 p.m. The lineup features pop and folk band, The Novelists, July 1; Guitar Shorty, July 8; Gene Evaro, Jr., July 15; South American-inspired La Misa Negra, July 22; Southern Drawl, July 29; Thee Commons, Aug. 5; Marla Brown, Aug. 12; and Dusty Green Bones, Aug. 26. Celtic rock band favorites The Young Dubliners rounds out the series Sept. 2.
