Carson City road report for week of June 10-16

Here is the Carson City area road and maintenance report for the week of June 10-16:
Due to continued construction of the Carson City Freeway project, Snyder Avenue is closed between E. Roland Street and Center Drive. Center Drive and Silver Sage Drive are also closed south of Appion Way.
Bennett Avenue is closed between Ponderosa Drive and Bigelow Drive. Bigelow Drive has been permanently closed between Roland Street and Bennett Avenue. Detours are signed.
On Monday, June 10, the northbound lane on Roop Street will be closed from Winnie Lane to Northridge Drive. Detours will be signed.
On Thursday, June 13, the outside eastbound lane on College Parkway will be closed near the Market Street intersection. Access to Market Street will remain open.
There will be road work at the following locations; (delays are not expected)
— Long Street between Humboldt Lane and Rand Avenue.
— Nye Lane between Hot Springs Road and Northgate Lane.
The following streets will be closed on Saturday, June 15, from noon to midnight due to a special event:
— Telegraph Street from Carson Street to Nevada Street.
— Curry Street from King Street to Spear Street.
— W Proctor Street from Carson Street to Curry Street.
— E Proctor Street from Carson Street to Plaza Street.
— Musser Street from Carson Street to Nevada Street.
— Second Street form Carson Street to Curry Street.
— Third Street form Carson Street to Curry Street.
— Fourth Street form Carson Street to Curry Street.
Also, on Saturday, June 15, Ann Street will be closed from Carson Street to Plaza Street from 8:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. due to a special event.
On Monday, June 17, the Carson City Freeway (I-580) will be closed from U.S. Highway 50 East to Fairview Drive from 8:00 p.m. to 6:00 a.m. the following morning due to maintenance. Detours will be signed. If necessary, the freeway will be closed the following night(s) during the same hours until the project is complete.
