NV Energy Reports power outages in Carson City, Virginia City, Reno and Douglas County
UPDATE 4 p.m.: The people who were stuck in an elevator near W. Ann Street have been rescued.
An additional line down is being reported near Musser.

UPDATE: As of 3:40 p.m. there are now 2,298 people without power, the majority of which reside in Carson City.
Outages include:
Winne Lane
Michael Drive
S. Nevada Street
W. Ann Street
N. Nevada Street
Additionally, two people near W. Ann Street are currently trapped in an elevator due to the power outage.
There are reported power lines down near Winnie and Division, and near 4th and Minnesota.

NV Energy is reporting multiple outages throughout Northern Nevada, including two in Carson City leaving nearly 300 people without power.
There are currently branches blocking the road on Minnesota Street.
A report of downed power lines is currently being investigated by first responders.
Public works is enroute to take care of the branches.
One outage is being reported on Winnie Lane and the second near Michael Drive.
There are additionally two separate power outages in South Lake Tahoe in Douglas County caused by damage to NV Energy equipment, and two outages in Reno similarly caused by damage to equipment.
365 customers total are affected throughout the three areas.
The Winnie Lane outage is estimated to be restored at 5 p.m., and the Michael Drive outage is estimated to be restored by 5:45 p.m., as of 3:25 p.m.
