Missing Gardnerville Ranchos boy found safe
UPDATE: At 9:45 p.m., Tuesday confirmation has been made that Romeo Obrien has been located safe and has been reunited with his mother.

UPDATE: Douglas County authorities have not confirmed the missing 11-year-old boy has been found. Police scanner traffic has suggested otherwise, however dispatch has not been given the go ahead to confirm.

An 11-year-old Gardnerville Ranchos boy is missing, authorities report Tuesday night. The Douglas County Sheriff’s Office and Douglas County Search and Rescue are searching for 11-year-old Romeo Obrien.
He is five foot three inches tall with brown hair, brown eyes and a scar under his left eye. He is wearing a blue DARE shirt and blue shorts. He was last seen in the area of Patricia Court in the Gardnerville Ranchos at 2 p.m. Tuesday afternoon.
Romeo’s last known direction is unknown. He has been entered into NCIC as a missing person.
