Roots jam band favorite Dangermuffin returns to BAC this Saturday night
Soul-stirring jam band Dangermuffin, who brought last year's Levitt AMP Outdoor Concert to its feet with its groove-fueled, positive vibe music, returns this Saturday to Carson City with a performance at the Brewery Arts Center.
This year they have new music and even a new band member. Fresh off the Strawberry Festival in Grass Valley, Dangermuffin’s easy, breezy melodies and soul-shaking grooves radiate from this genre-bending roots trio to bring thoughtful tunes that are both heartfelt and truthful. See a video of their performance here.
Their haunting harmonies and go-with-the-flow vibe invite listeners to kick back, relax, and be consumed by the ethereal rhythmic backbone and inspiring messages Dangermuffin has to offer. Lyrically, they evoke themes of self-discovery, ancient knowledge, and true awareness, all within a unique and casual approach.
“Dangermuffin played a show during our outdoor concert series last year and blew everyone away with their amazing, original sound. This year, I can’t wait to hear their new music in the Performance Hall setting,” says Mikey Wiencek, Brewery Arts Center Board Vice Chair, “should be an experience music fans won’t want to miss.”
The concert is Saturday, May 27 at the Brewery Arts Center’s Performance Hall at 511 West King Street in Carson City.
Special ticket prices through Friday are 2 for $20 or $25 at the door. Tickets are available for purchase at Breweryarts.org or in our Artisan Store at 449 West King Street, Carson City.
