The first set of burglaries to vehicles occurred during the early morning hours of March 25 in the Kingsley and Kitchen Street areas of Carson City.
With assistance from the public and local businesses three suspects were identified, said CCSO Capt. Brian Humphrey. The three are Daniel Redding, who is now in custody, Daniel Crawford and Cody Dalhaus. Crawford and Dalhaus remain at large. Click on photo to enlarge.
Video surveillance from private residences during the crimes and video surveillance from businesses helped in the identification of the suspects.
Warrants for burglary, conspiracy to commit burglary, unlawful use of a credit card, and obtaining money/goods under false pretenses have been issued for each of them.
The second set of vehicle burglaries occurred during the late evening hours of April 6 or early morning hours of April 7 in the Silver Oak Housing area of Carson City.
Numerous vehicles were broken into most of all were unlocked. Detectives are actively working several leads in this case. Several people have provided us with pictures and videos of the suspects from their home security cameras. We are asking for the public’s help in the identification of the three and Secret Witness is offering a reward.
