Carson City Sheriff's deputies respond to reported robbery
Carson City Sheriff's deputies are on scene of a reported robbery at Little Caesar's Pizza at the Carson Mall.
The robbery was reported to emergency dispatch shortly before 2:30 p.m. Sunday.
According to dispatch, a younger couple, one male and one female, entered the restaurant located in the 1200 block of South Carson Street and demanded money from the register.
No weapons were displayed during the robbery, dispatch reported, and the suspects fled on foot heading north on Carson Street.
The male suspect is described as white, wearing all black, including a hooded sweatshirt bearing a white leaf symbol on the back.
The female suspect is described as approximately five feet eight inches tall wearing pink or orange yoga-type leggings and white shoes.
The suspects left the restaurant with an undisclosed amount of cash, Carson City Sheriff Ken Furlong said.
Video surveillance at the restaurant is currently being reviewed by law enforcement, the sheriff said.
