Lake Tahoe ski resorts revel with new spring snow storms
Mother Nature has left a swath of new snow at Lake Tahoe ski resorts this week. The snow arrived in time for Carson City spring breakers to hit the slopes.
Kirkwood Mountain Resort received 2 feet snow Tuesday and overnight into Wednesday morning with a seven day new-snow total of 28 inches.
Mt. Rose reports 5 to 7 inches of new snow that fell since the storm rolled in. Go here for a live streaming cam.
Heavenly Mountain Resort received 5 inches in the past 24 hours with a 7 day total of 10 inches. Northstar reports 8 inches of snow since Tuesday’s storm arrived, with a seven-day total of 15 inches. Squaw Valley received a foot of new snow overnight.
