Carson City man arrested for allegedly attacking house after being unable to contact ex-girlfriend
A 27-year-old Carson City man was arrested in the area of E Nye Lane and Tonni Street for violation of bail conditions after a call came in about a possible residential burglary.
The reporting party stated they knew the man, who was banging on their front door and their kitchen window. The man in question is under supervision with the Department of Alternative Sentencing and had a condition to not contact the victim, who was the man’s ex-girlfriend.
According to the report, the reporting party stated that the man’s ex-girlfriend had been temporarily living at their residence, and the man approached the house and asked to speak with the ex-girlfriend. The reporting party told the man to leave, which he refused, which caused the reporting party to close and lock the door. He then began banging on the door and throwing items at it.
The man then walked to the front of the house and began throwing objects from the reporting party’s front yard at the kitchen window, and banging on the window with his hands.
The reporting party stated they did not wish to press charges, but that they wanted him to stay away from the house. They stated that the man’s ex-girlfriend was not home during the altercation.
Deputies spoke to the man, who said he knew his ex-girlfriend was living at the location and went there to get equipment from the residence for his work.
The reporting party stated he did not have any items at their house and had no reason to be there.
DAS asked the man be taken into custody for violation of bail conditions.
At the jail, deputies had the man provide a preliminary breath test which showed a BAC level of .393 percent. Due to the high alcohol content, he was taken to the hospital for medical clearance. He was later cleared and returned to the jail.

— A 28-year-old Carson City man was arrested for violation of bail conditions after allegedly “racing around” on his motorcycle and consuming alcohol.
According to the report, dispatch received a report of a motorcyclist “racing around” in the area of N. Curry Street and W. Telegraph Street.
Deputies located a man standing next to a motorcycle parked on the south side of W. Telegraph Street east of N. Curry Street.
The man was revving the engine and spinning the back tire of the motorcycle while the motorcycle burned in place, in order to do a “burnout,” causing large amounts of smoke to emit from the tire, and leaving a heavy black burnout mark directly next to and underneath the motorcycle’s rear tire.
Deputies ran a check on the man, whose license came back as being suspended “indefinitely.” Dispatch also advised he was on pre-trial supervision with DAS for a recent criminal charge of DUI.
Deputies asked if he had been drinking, and he said he had not. He provided a preliminary breath test, which resulted in a .04 percent BAC, indicating he had been drinking alcohol.
He was taken into custody for violation of pre-trial conditions.
