Carson City Sheriff’s Office provides update on juvenile runaway

The Carson City Sheriff’s Office is requesting assistance with locating a runaway juvenile. On December 14, 2020 Xavier Pierce ran away from his home in Carson City. Xavier is believed to be in the Carson City area and may be riding a red bicycle. Xavier does not have any medical problems and is not considered at risk.

Xavier is a white male juvenile. He is 17-years-old. He is approximately 5’6” and is 110 pounds. He has brown hair and blue eyes. No clothing description.

Update: We received information Xavier may be living with someone in the Carson City area and intends to stay with them until he turns 18-years-old.

It is illegal to conceal a runaway from their parent(s) without immediately notifying law enforcement. It is also illegal to harbor a fugitive from justice. Anyone harboring a runaway or fugitive from justice could be arrested.

CARSON CITY — Tad Williams, Jr., fifth grade teacher at Fritsch Elementary School, was honored last night as the Carson City School District’s Educator of the Year. Additionally, Jillian Shufelt, Distance Education assistant at Pioneer High School, was recognized as the Education Support Professional Employee of the Year for the district.

CARSON CITY — The Stewart Indian School Cultural Center & Museum announces a new exhibit in the Great Basin Native Artists Gallery. This exhibition will be on display through Oct. 23, 2021.
