Carson City Health and Human Services is reporting one death, 50 new COVID-19 cases and 53 recoveries in the Quad County region, from Saturday, April 24 to Monday, April 26, 2021.
For Saturday, April 24, 2021 CCHHS is reporting an additional death due to COVID-19 in the Quad County region. The individual was a female Carson City resident in her 80’s.
CCHHS is also reporting 18 new cases and 28 additional recoveries of COVID-19 in the Quad County Region. This brought the total number of cases to 12,379, with 11,740 recoveries and 226 deaths; 413 cases remained active.
Sunday, April 25: 20 New Cases and 12 Recoveries
For Sunday, April 25, 2021 CCHHS is reporting 20 new cases and 12 additional recoveries of COVID-19 in the Quad-County Region. This brought the total number of cases to 12,399, with 11,752 recoveries and 226 deaths; 421 cases remained active.
Monday, April 26: 12 New Cases and 13 Recoveries
CCHHS is reporting 12 new cases and 13 additional recoveries of COVID-19 in the Quad County region. The weekend numbers and today’s numbers bring the total number of cases to 12,411, with 11,765 recoveries and 226 deaths; 420 cases remain active.

Walk-In COVID-19 Vaccine event Tuesday
This vaccination event will happen Tuesday, April 27, from 8 a.m. to 12 p.m. It will be held at Fuji Park, 701 Old Clear Creek Road, Carson City. There are 100 doses of Moderna available to those 18 and older. All previously scheduled appointments will be honored. The second Moderna dose will be available May 25, 8 a.m. to noon.
Drive-Thru COVID-19 Testing for Quad-County Residents
Testing is for Quad-County (Carson City, Douglas, Lyon, and Storey County) residents ONLY, all others will be turned away. Testing is free of charge, no appointments or reservations.
