Airplane crashes at Carson City Airport

UPDATE 1:41PM: Carson City Sheriff Ken Furlong confirms the pilot was unconscious briefly following the crash and has been flown to Renown Medical Center in Reno via Care Flight. He was conscious when he left Carson City on Care Flight, said Furlong. The plane did not have any passengers.

An airplane has reportedly crash on the north side of the Carson City Airport, according to dispatch. The incident happened at around 12:50 p.m., and initial reports are the plane had crashed and the pilot was unconscious, according to Carson City dispatch.
Arriving Carson City Sheriff's Office personnel confirm it is a plane crash, the perimeter is being secured and the airport is now closed.
Emergency vehicles are making their way to the airport. No smoke was reported at the time of the crash, according to dispatch. The tail number of the aircraft, N39894, returns out of Kingman, Ariz., according to dispatch.
The FAA has been notified of the incident and will be the investigating agency. The condition of the pilot is unknown at this time; Carson City Sheriff Ken Furlong confirmed, however, the pilot was unconscious and will be flown by Care Flight to the trauma ward at Renown Medical Center.
It is also unknown if there were any passengers in the aircraft.
