Carson City sheriff’s arrest log: Man jailed on trespassing, drug charges
A 20-year-old Carson City man was arrested early Thursday in the 1200 block of Spartan Avenue on misdemeanor charges of trespassing and possession of marijuana, a Carson City sheriff's deputy said.
According to the arrest report, deputies were called to the location at 10:15 p.m. Wednesday evening after the suspect allegedly made entry into a family member’s home without permission. The victim said the man began to argue and that he took his belongings and left the home. The family requested a citizen’s arrest.
At around 12:10 a.m. deputies made contact with the suspect at his residence and he was arrested. He was read his Miranda warning and the man stated he had marijuana in his pocket. Bail: $979.
— A 39-year-old transient was arrested for misdemeanor trespassing Thursday, 12:49 a.m. in the 800 block of North Carson Street. Bail: $242.
— A 31-year-old Carson City man was arrested Wednesday, 7:10 p.m. in the 900 block of North Saliman on misdemeanor charges of driving on a revoked license for DUI, violation of bail conditions and driving without his lights on. According to the arrest report, deputies stopped the driver after observing that he was traveling southbound with his vehicle headlights off and fog lights on.
The driver gave the deputy a Nevada identification card. DMV confirmed his license was revoked for DUI. His name was run through a local warrant check with dispatch which confirmed he was on Alternative Sentencing for driving on a DUI revoked driver’s license. Alternative Sentencing advised he was on probation and was to obey all laws. He was arrested on violation of bail conditions. Bail: $4,209.
— A Dayton man was arrested Tuesday, 11:57 p.m. in the area of North Carson Street and Hot Springs Road on a misdemeanor failure to appear warrant issued Jan. 7, 2016 out of Justice Court in Storey County. Bail: $1,693.
— A 25-year-old Carson City woman was arrested Monday, 3:41 p.m. on misdemeanor charges of destruction of property and violation of a suspended sentence. The woman allegedly broke a window of an ex-boyfriend’s residence and a mirror from the victim’s vehicle. The man told deputies he was worried about what his ex-girlfriend would do to his girls, his cars and house and signed a citizen’s arrest form for destruction of property. He then went to the court house to obtain a restraining order, the arrest report states.
The woman denied being around the home, the arrest report states. Bail: $3,500.
— A 55-year-old Carson City woman, Cheryl Lyvette Crutch, was arrested Monday, 3:32 p.m. in the 3800 block of South Carson Street on felony suspicion of grand larceny. According to the arrest report, deputies were called to Kohl’s in reference to a female employee in custody for shoplifting. On arrival deputies met with loss prevention who said they had detained one of their employees who had allegedly, over a period of time, stole rings and money. The suspect had allegedly pawned the jewelry. Kohl’s reported the total loss was approximately $5,000 worth of jewelry along with some cash, the arrest report states. The woman was arrested on a charge of grand larceny. Bail: $25,000.
— A 31-year-old Carson City woman was arrested Monday at a Kit Sierra Loop residence on a misdemeanor charge of violation of bail conditions through the Department of Alternative Sentencing. Bail: $3,000.
