Carson City swears in four new deputies, number of officers equal to pre-recession says Sheriff
In a swearing in ceremony held Thursday afternoon, four additional deputies were sworn into service for the Carson City Sheriff’s Office. Sheriff Ken Furlong said during the ceremony the number of sworn officers are now up to pre-recession 2010 levels.
Jose Nunez, Jared Blue, Robert Routon, and Cesar Pacheco took their oaths before friends and family as the newest deputies at the Carson City Sheriff’s Office.
“This is a big step in their careers and in their lives,” said Furlong. “Our proactive work is what gives us the benefit in this community.”
