Carson City Sheriff's Office makes multiple warrant arrests

A 35-year-old Wadsworth man was booked into Carson City Jail on Feb. 16 for a felony warrant alleging domestic battery by strangulation and preventing/dissuade victim from reporting a crime, according to a sheriff's office booking report.
Cameron Foster, who was at Washoe County Jail since Feb. 9, was transferred to Carson City Jail for the warrant, issued Dec. 20 out of Carson City Justice Court. Bail: $7,500.
In other arrests:
— A 27-year-old Sparks man was booked into Carson City Jail on Feb. 16 for a misdemeanor warrant alleging probation violation. The warrant was issued Dec. 14, 2022. Bail: $3,000 cash.
— A 39-year-old Sun Valley man was booked into Carson City Jail on Feb. 16 for a misdemeanor warrant alleging violation of conditions. The warrant was issued April 25, 2022 out of Carson City Justice Court. Bail: $1,000 cash.
— A 39-year-old Carson City man was arrested Feb. 16 for a misdemeanor outside agency warrant issued out of East Fork Justice Court. The charge listed on the warrant is Alternative Sentencing Violation. Bail: $3,000.
— A 42-year-old South Lake Tahoe man was arrested early Thursday for suspicion of possession of a controlled substance and misdemeanor possession of paraphernalia.
According to the booking report, a deputy made a traffic stop on a vehicle after the driver made a right turn onto Highway 50 West without using a turn signal.
The deputy made contact with the driver and male passenger, Eduardo Rodriguez, the passenger. Through the course of the investigation, a K9 was deployed to conduct an exterior sniff and alerted positive for narcotics. During a probable cause search, deputies located a methamphetamine pipe with 1.0 grams of methamphetamine under the passenger seat where Rodriguez was sitting. He was arrested. Bail: $3,500.
— A 55-year-old Carson City woman was arrested Wednesday for a misdemeanor failure to appear warrant. No bail hold in lieu of hearing.
