Squaw Valley reports 7-plus feet from storms
Here's the latest from 1960 Olympics host resort, Squaw Valley. I'm sure much of the same can be said for other resorts. My Carson Cirty patio got about two feet of snow over the last couple of days. Maybe I'll get my x-c skis out and try the rose garden run!

Squaw Valley received over 7 feet of snow in the last 72 hours, bringing the season's snowfall totals to over 30 feet. The snow is still falling with snow showers predicted to continue through Saturday night and the possibility of an incredible, California "bluebird" day on Sunday, Feb. 20.
With a current base of 164 inches and more snow on the way, Squaw Valley USA is set up for incredible skiing all the way through its legendary spring season. Skiers and riders can take advantage of the resort's phenomenal conditions and terrain for $63 a day with a new 3-visit value pass — a total of $75 in savings.
Available now for purchase at $189 for adults, the Squaw Legend 3-Pack will be valid Feb. 26, 2011, through the end of the 2010-11 winter season, with no date restrictions. While the pass is reloadable in increments of three throughout the season for the same rate, the original purchase must be made on or before March 11, 2011.
