Tales from Dating Hell: Comedy showcase at BAC Performance Hall
We have all had a dreadful dating experience straight out of a horror show that makes us question the very merits of searching for love.
The Brewery Arts Center is bringing together some of Northern Nevada’s top comedians and storytellers to recount their worst and most excruciating dating stories on Saturday, Feb. 18 at 8 p.m. inside the Brewery Arts Center Performance Hall, 511 W. King Street in Carson City. Doors open at 7:30 p.m.
Our comics and storytellers include Patrick Shillito, Amy Bosch, Darlene Pearson, Matt Wiegand, James Fleming, Jenny Pez de Spencer, Bobby Benedict, Bryant Tarpley, Doniele Johnston, and Meghan Simons.
Together they bring decades of comedic experience to the stage, performing at Laugh Factory, Catch a Rising Star, Pioneer Underground, Knitting Factory, and all across the United States.
Showcase host Nick Josten won the First Forte Award for Stand-Up Comedy last year in Reno. He is a regular opener at The Pioneer Underground in Reno and performs across the western United States.
If you need a post-Valentine’s Day session to wallow in a hatred for love, then this is the perfect show for you.
If you’ve somehow found true love and want to look back on all the madness that brought you to your current happiness and laugh at those still struggling with the dating life, please also come to the show.
Tickets are only $5 at the door with open seating and a cash bar. For more information please contact Nick Josten at 775-450-4772.
