Governor proclaims March to be Chiropractic Month in Nevada
In the proclamation, it was noted the “chiropractic profession is the fastest-growing healthcare profession in the United States” and “is becoming the primary care for most Americans, by improving healing time, reducing the risk of injury, and saving millions of dollars from unwanted healthcare costs.”
The proclamation further notes the importance of awareness and researching “the causes of vertebral subluxation in order to experience a better life and improved health.” Read the entire proclamation below.
The proclamation follows the recent formation of The Nevada Chiropractic Council, whose mission is to promote “the use of innovative, collaborative and transparent communication tools and techniques to maximize the inclusion, engagement and unified education of all of the members of the groups it serves.
The NCC is an active and engaged service organization that provides resources for professional development, educated health care choices, and community wellness; and is committed, above all else, to the preservation of the integrity of the practice of Chiropractic in the great state of Nevada.”
In addition to Governor Sandoval, the proclamation was also signed by Nevada Secretary of State Barbara Cegavske and Chief Deputy Scott Anderson.
