Carson City's fire guard makes ceremonial transition
Carson City Fire Chief Bob Schreihans speaks at his badge-pinning ceremony at Station 51 in Carson City, Nev., on Tuesday, Feb. 3, 2015. Schreihans, who is the fifth paid chief in the history of the department, has been with the Carson City Fire Department for nearly 31 years. Assistant Chief Tom Tom Tarulli, left, served as emcee for the ceremony which drew about 125 people.
Schreihans replaces Stacey Giomi who announced in December that he was retiring, after 31 years of being with the Carson City Fire Department.
