NHP: Driver identified in crash on New Year's Eve in Genoa
An elderly driver involved in a single vehicle crash that happened New Year's Eve in Genoa died Monday at a local area hospital, according to the Nevada Highway Patrol.
Martin Hubbard, 82, of Genoa resident died Jan. 20, 2020, according to NHP. On Tuesday, Dec. 31, 2019, at approximately 6:49 p.m. NHP troopers were dispatched to a serious injury crash involving a single vehicle at SR-206 and Mill Street in Genoa.
Preliminary investigation shows a gold 2010 Lexus GX 460 was traveling north on SR-206 approaching Mill Street.
While negotiating a right curve, the driver allowed the vehicle to exit the roadway to the left. The vehicle continued in a northwest direction and struck the east side of Trimmer Outpost.
