Carson Tahoe Health: Hospitalized COVID patient trends lower, midtown drive-thru test tent to close
The following is from Diane Rush, director of marketing, communications and public information officer for Carson Tahoe Health.
We are happy to report that our number of hospitalized COVID patients continues to trend downward so we’re beginning to activate our next steps towards the new normal.
Effective end-of-day Friday, Jan. 22, we will be closing our Midtown Drive-Thru COVID-19 testing tent, located at 775 Fleischmann Way.
Carson Tahoe will still be administering COVID-19 testing for symptomatic patients and non-symptomatic patients with a doctor's order, at our Carson City Urgent Care and Dayton Urgent Care.
Additionally, effective Monday, Jan. 25, we will bring back outpatient blood draw and EKG testing to Sierra Surgery, located on the Carson Tahoe Medical Campus.
Adjustments are being made as needed to best utilize our resources and provide for our community. For more information and regular updates follow us on Facebook or visit carsontahoe.com.
