Yoga (for non-yogis!) New January Classes!
Welcome to Yoga for Non Yogis! If you have ever said "I can't do yoga because my body won't do that" then this class is for you.
This is a 6 week class that breaks down the yoga poses in to fundamental movements. Learn about your core (what the heck does that mean, anyway?) and how to move more efficiently in order to prevent injury. You will learn how to move in and out of basic poses, and learn a few classic introductory yoga postures.
There will be opportunity to modify all poses and movements based on the needs of your body – learn how to adapt yoga to what your body needs instead of trying to fit your body into an unrealistic pose.
This is a great class for those new to yoga, as well as those with a little more experience who want to step back and review alignment fundamentals. Class size is limited to allow for personal attention.
There are two 6 week sessions - Monday nights 5:30-7pm and/or Wednesday nights 5:30-7pm. You can attend one or both. See attached flyer for more details, or contact Amy at 775-241-4748.
