Special New Years Day Hike: Wild Horse Trail and Centennial Park Loop hosted by Muscle Powered
Ring in 2019 with a nice hike in east Carson City offered through Muscle Powered. Meet at the back of Centennial Park, across from the baseball fields on Heritage Way.
The hike begins on the new Wild Horse trail, continues along the powerline road which connects to the Centennial Loop. This hike will be approximately 5 miles. Dogs not allowed on this hike. Water and closed-toe shoes required.

Established in 1997, Muscle Powered is a community group dedicated to making Nevada’s capital city a better community for bicycling and walking through advocacy, education, and promotion of bike-and-pedestrian-friendly roadways, and bike-and-pedestrian-friendly development and redevelopment. The group also does weekly hikes and bike rides around Carson City.
