Fighters Against Child Abuse to hold Saturday 3:30 p.m. vigil for victims of school shootings
Fighters Against Child Abuse and Fighters Against Bullying organizations in Carson City will hold a Prayer Vigil Saturday at 3:30 p.m. for the victims of Friday's shooting at a Connecticut Elementary school. The Vigil will be held in front of The Capital Building in Carson City to show support to the families and friends who have lost loved ones due to this senseless act of violence. Another vigil is also slated for 6 p.m.
We encourage teachers and parents to attend. Our community was rocked by the I-hop shooting, so Northern Nevada Residents know what it is like to have such tragedy in a small town. Please help us spread the word, and send prayers and support from our community to theirs! Fighters Against Child Abuse is a Nevada 501(c)3 non profit.
Consisting of pro and amateur fighters dedicated to the support of abused, bullied and at risk children.
The vigil will be tomorrow Saturday the 15th at 3:30 PM in front of The State Capitol Building in Carson City. It has been requested to bring flashlights and iPhone candles rather than burning candles and to also gather across the street from the Capitol at the Attorney General's complex, 101 North Carson Street.
