KNVC 95.1 FM Carson City Community Radio is partnering with Night Off The Streets, also known as NOTS, Carson City's winter homeless program. KNVC is collecting items they could use in their warming shelter.

All are invited to the Carson City Native And Newcomers Club meeting on Thursday, March 12. Our club is a nonprofit serving the Carson City area. We meet monthly except, August, for lunch and discussion.

Junior Giants is a free, non-competitive and coed baseball program for youth ages 5-13.

The Children's Museum of Northern Nevada in Carson City recently appointed Benjamin Korn as its new Executive Director.

The Earth Spirit Faire has returned to the Nevada state capital, featuring several craft vendors and practitioners in the healing arts, massage, and intuitive readings inside the Carson City Community Center gymnasium Saturday and Sunday.

Dozens of vendors are expected in celebration of Earth at the annual Earth Spirit Faire held this year at the Carson City Community Center this Saturday and Sunday, April 29 - 30. The faire runs from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. at the Carson City Community Center.

TACH performs "Music of India" in Washoe County District Schools & Libraries from last couple of years through Pioneer Center for the Performing Arts. This organization works for community service in the field of music and in continuation TACH is presenting it's event on July 17th, 2016.

This free community event is hosted by The Littlest Things a Carson City, a 501c3 non profit that creates free fun community events throughout the Carson Valley. Some younger folks are providing for the financial assistance of their parents or grandparents. If they just give money, it does not reduce the income tax for the young giver. They make the gifts from money left after they pay income taxes.

Recently, an article was posted to Carson Now by University of Nevada Cooperative Extension promoting a spring plant sale fundraiser for The Greenhouse Project, located behind Carson High School.

Although the article itself seemed very non-controversial, the comments posted to it were anything but.
