Cross Culture World Music and Dance
TACH (Traditional Association for Cultural Harmony) a non profit organization presents "Cross Cultural - World Music and Dance" on Dec 5th, 2015. This concert will present a collaboration of Indo-American artist, an Indian Dance, Indian Classical, Jazz, Fusion, Saxophone, Flute, Harp.
In this event Mr. Oscar Delgado, Vice Mayor - City of Reno is going to grace the occasion as a chief guest and felicitate the awardee of the event.TACH is going to present it’s 3rd “Award of Excellence” to an artist who are having the extra ordinary ability in the field of music. The nominee of the “Award of Excellence” is Guru Vishal Ramani – a famous Indian style Bharatnatyam dancer.

Vishal Ramani, (nominee for “Award of Excellence) has been described as a “virtuoso” of a choreographer, with a “dazzling” and “incendiary” sense of rhythm and style. As a solo performer choreographing her own pieces, she has won overwhelming critical acclaim for performances in the United States and India, over the years. Ms. Ramani envisioned a brilliant future for the Bharatanatyam art form in the United States. An exceptional writer of thematic presentations, she has combined elements of Hindu mythology and literature, with everyday experiences of the contemporary world.
Dallas Smith & Susan Mazer, more than two musicians, their combined sound is symphonic and rich in musical expression and sonority. Dallas is a pioneer in the performance and development of the electronic wind synthesizer, having naturally expanded his interest to the newer technologies that allowed him to move around all musical genres with unprecedented creativity and expertise. As a classical harpist, Susan performed with the Detroit Symphony, the English Royal Ballet, and under the batons of Sexton Ehling, Paul Paray, Robert Shaw, and other great conductors. In an effort to set a new standard for excellence and artistry as a harpist in the contemporary instrumental jazz and pop music genres, she ventured into technological realm of amplification.
Chakrapani Singh, is truly a rare instrumentalist with an unique repertoire ranging from traditional, classical compositions on the slide guitar to his innovative, renditions on the Kachappi Veena. This maverick musician leaves every music lover spell bound with his flashes of unparalleled brilliance. Chakrapani's everlasting love for music is undoubtedly going to be a joyful journey. His unique style of playing amazed the audiences.Chakrapani is one of the generations brightest stars with a career that promises to be illustrious and innovative.
Peter Fairley, is a student of Zakir Hussain and is also learning from Chakrapani Singh. He also received “Excellence in Environmental Education” as a a Science Instructor at Galena High School and his dedication to environmental education and outstanding implementation of hands-on field components.
TACH (Traditional Association for Cultural Harmony) work for Global Artist Management, Yoga, Meditation, Pranayam, Cultural Exchange Program, Music Education, Fusion Music Collaboration & Development, Seminar, Organize Music Competitions and open to promote for all aspects of Music & it's related Cultural Promotions. It promotes all aspect of music of Indian & Western.
It is working to establish a Music, Meditation, Pranayam & Yoga Center, where people can learn healing music which is going to be very helpful in health wise as well as to get relief from tension & problems. It's going to give the community peace of mind through Music, Meditation, Pranayam & Yoga.
TACH is having a 501c3 and expecting donor to fulfill it’s dream by establishing a music and meditation center on the basis of TRADITIONAL cult – “GURU-SHISYA” parampara (Teacher and Disciple tradition). This center will give the facility of lodging-boarding and learning to the students.
