Grand re-opening of Flavors of India with meet and greet Thursday at new Carson City location

Event Date:
December 2, 2021 - 4:00pm

Flavors of India is back and operating from its new location, 240 E. Winnie Lane in Carson City. They are hosting meet and greet on Thursday, Dec. 2, from 4 to 6 p.m.

Specializing in traditional North Indian cuisine, Flavors of India was originally on South Carson Street near the Carson Mall. After deciding to leave the location, owner Dolly Kaur found a temporary spot at Z Bistro, 725 Basque Way, where she did take-out and to go orders by phone and drop-ins.

The meet and greet will offer complimentary appetizers and soft drinks.

Now with its permanent location, the restaurant is able to expand and have a filled menu of flavorful, authentic Indian dishes, sauces, breads, seafood, chicken and lamb specialities. The menu also includes vegetarian and vegan dishes.

Flavors returns for business with its new hours, effective Dec. 3. Flavors will be open Wednesdays through Saturdays, 11:30 a.m. to 6:30 p.m. Flavors will also continue to do catering and "grab and go" ordering as they were doing at the Basque Way location.

For more information, including the full menu and dishes of the day, lunch and dinner specials and packaged products, check out the Flavors of India Facebook page here. To order or to make reservations, call (775) 430-7213.
