Proscenium Players holds auditions for Steve Martin comedy production of 'The Underpants'
Proscenium Players will hold open auditions at the Brewery Arts Center in Carson City for their March 2013 production of “The Underpants” directed by Jeff Whitt. Auditions will be held on Sunday, December 2 and Monday, December 3 from 6:30 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. in the Maizie Harris-Jesse Theater, 449 West King Street, Carson City.
There are roles for four men and two women age 18 or older. Those auditioning will be asked to do cold readings from the script and some improvisational acting. Performances will be held in the Maizie Harris-Jesse Theater at the Brewery Arts Center on March 22, 23, 29 and 30 at 7:30 p.m. and March 24 and 31 at 2:00 p.m., 2013.

His hilarious new version opened in March 2002 on Off-Broadway to critical acclaim. In “The Underpants,” Theobald Maske has an unusual problem: his wife's underpants won't stay on.
One Sunday morning they cause a public scandal when they fall to her ankles right in the middle of town. Mortified, Theo swears to keep her at home until she can find some less unruly undies. Amid this chaos, he's trying to rent a room in their flat. The prospective lodgers have some underlying surprises of their own.
