International Folkloric Ballet of Reno presents at Nevada State Museum
The International Folkloric Ballet of Reno joins the daylong celebration of Day of the Dead at the Nevada State Museum in Carson City on Saturday.
The event begins at 10 am with crafts and stories for the children. A variety of local dancers will begin their presentations starting at 1:00 pm, culminating in the colorful whirling skirts of the International Folkloric Ballet at 3:00 pm. The group will also perform exciting Aztec dances or Danza Azteca Aztlan. The cost is $8 for adults and free for museum members and children 17 and under. The entrance fee includes all the crafts and dance presentations as well as the exhibits. The museum is open from 8:30 am to 4:30 pm, Tuesday - Sunday.
