Historic Fourth Ward School Museum in Virginia City offers Letterpress printing workshop
One day letterpress printing workshops are now being offered in the "Mark Twain Room" in the Historic Fourth Ward School Museum in Virginia City.
Learn the basics of the 550+ year old art and craft of Letterpress Printing from Steve Robison, an experienced letterpress printer.
Be able to walk away with a special hand printed piece to share with your friends and family, and then if you're really hooked, schedule a time later to come back (at no cost!) to create and print other letterpress projects of your choosing with guidance from Steve!
We'd love if you came with a favorite quote that you'd like to print.
We ask that you bring a favorite quote to set in type (we'll supply the type!).
The workshop fee is $25 for nonmembers, $20 for Fourth Ward School Museum members, for one of the Saturday Workshops listed below.
Two workshop times are available:
(10 a.m. to 12:45 p.m.) or (1:15 p.m. to 4 p.m.)
- October 19, 2024
- November 16, 2024
