The Children's Museum of Northern Nevada's First Annual Gala
The Children’s Museum of Northern Nevada is hosting its first Gala event. The Gala is a fundraiser to help update Museum’s exhibits and improve programming. The Children’s Museum of Northern Nevada is a non-profit organization that embodies a play-based learning environment dedicated to offering unique and innovative hands-on learning in the Arts, Sciences, and Humanities, providing the joy and wonder of discovery to children and families from economically and culturally diverse backgrounds. The Museum provides a safe and fun learning environment for all families in the community.
The Gala will be themed “Pure Imagination” with inspiration from Willy Wonka. The Museum provides children a safe place to imagine and create, so Willy Wonka was only fitting for this event. The Gala will be held on September 18th. Social hour is 5:30pm-6:30pm. Dinner starts at 6:30pm, and the magic show starts at 7:30pm and will run until 8:30pm. There will be wonderful door prizes and silent auction items available to be bid on. There will also be a surprise appearance by Jacques the Magician, who will inspire all with more wonder and imagination. The Gala will be held in the Casino Fandango’s Ballroom in Carson City, Nevada. Each ticket is $50, and tables of 10 people are $500 each. Tickets can be bought through the Children’s Museum website https://www.cmnn.org/gala or by calling (775)884-2226.
