Meet local authors at Carson City's Browsers Corner Book Store
Browsers Corner Book Store is pleased to host a series of five local authors who will share their work with the Carson City community this season.
Michael K. Falciani will share his award winning “The Raven and the Crow” fantasy series on Friday, June 21 from 5:30-6:30 p.m.
Todd Borg will be at the bookstore on Monday, July 29 from 6:00-7:30 p.m. to read from his crime novel “Tahoe Rescue” followed by a question and answer session. Seating is limited so get there early.
Looking ahead to August, Nancy L. Scott will share her memoir “500 miles from the Nearest Road” recounting her adventures in Alaska. She will be at Browsers on Friday, August 16 from 5:30-6:30 p.m.
In September, Robert Drews will speak about his inspirational novel “Look for Something Good”. He will be at the bookstore Friday, September 27 from 5:30-6:30 where you can purchase a signed copy of his book.
Finally, the author event season ends in October with Monica Marcinko who will share her children’s picture book “Santa Manners” just in time for children to prepare to get on Santa’s “good list” for the coming holiday. Monica will be at Browsers on Saturday, October 12 from 11:00-12:00 p.m.
Browsers Corner Book Store is a 501(3)(c) non-profit operated by the Friends of the Carson Library which invites you to share the joy of reading with these outstanding local authors.
