Seventeen- year -olds (with parent permission) as well as those 18 years old and older are eligible to serve.
The service term would begin as soon as applicants apply, are accepted to the positions and complete their onboarding process. Their service will end August 15, 2021.
Healthy Communities’ Food Systems Manager Cortney Bloomer explained that “AmeriCorps service is a fantastic resume builder and a great opportunity to serve your community in a meaningful way. This opportunity would be particularly well-suited for those who are interested in agriculture, science, and hands-on experience working in a food production facility.”
